Lynch was born and raised in Wisconsin before moving to Washington, D.C. to work with monkeys at the National Zoo. She then moved over to work at the real national zoo -- Congress -- as a legislative aide. The lure of home politics brought her to the Wisconsin state Senate Democrats as their communications director.
Over the last decade she has volunteered for many local, state and federal campaigns and is currently a freelance graphic artist specializing in political communications.
