GET REAL advertisement

The GET REAL PAC, a group running ads in support of Maya Cole and Lucy Mathiak for Madison School Board, has an ad in the paper today that is good for a laugh.

After telling folks which candidates to support, the ad has a box with this in it:

It's time

to GET REAL return MMSD

to its legal responsibilities of

running the school district

for parents and kids

staff

and community tax payers

AND

return MTI to advocating

for teachers

The ad does not have the space in between lines like this does, but I wanted to show how each line is broken up in the ad. Aside from the fact that I'm not sure what they are advocating for with this strange wording, some punctuation might have been nice.

I'm sure my blog is not error free but an ad about education probably deserved a proofreader or two before it went to print.
