And they're off...

The candidates for spring elections have filed their papers and there could be come very good races in Dane County. Although there are only 10 contested races for the Dane County Board. A whopping 27 Dane County Board members do not have an opponent. That should leave the board tipping to the left.

The Madison School Board races could be very interesting this year. Seat one, which is being vacated by Bill Keys, has three candidates. Incumbent Juan Jose Lopez also has an opponent from an East side activist, Lucy Mathiak.

Everyone will probably take this challenge very seriously this time, unlike the race against Bill Clingan last year. Very few people realized right away that Clingan was in for the race of his life. Including Bill Clingan.
