Add Rubbermaid to the list

Last week I mentioned a Frontline episode that aired Jan. 3rd called "Is Walmart Good for America?" on PBS. It looked into the way Walmart does business in America and overseas.

Unfortunately, if you missed the show, you can see a live demonstration this week with Rubbermaid's announcement of plant closings across the country. Rep. Terese Berceau's press release tags the real reason behind the closings and it is not unions or regulations. Madison will lose 240 jobs but the state could end up losing more down the road as the company struggles to keep giving into Walmart's ridiculously low price demands.
